ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for 1/3
the alleged offence punishable under Sections 420 IPC in Crime No.Not Known of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was working in Om Muruga Textile, Madurai for the past seven years and he colluded with one Nathan Sarees owner and looted a huge amount.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution.
4.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) for the respondent submits that the based on the complaint lodged by the defacto complainant, an enquiry has been initiated on 13.03.2024 and the same is pending. 5.The respondent Police is expected to conclude the petition enquiry within a period of 15 days. It appears that the respondent Police has not found any materials as against the petitioner and therefore, they have not registered any case for the past two and half months. Since the Investigating Agency has not registered any case, 2/3
apprehension of arrest is unwarranted.
