: Respondents PRAYER:Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission and necessary police protection to perform the cultural programme (ie.,) Adal Padal Dance Programme on 06.07.2017 at 7.00 PM to 11.00 PM in the Festival of Thiru Vizha festival committee of Arulmigu Sri Manthaiamman Thirukovil at Pommayagoundanpatti Village, Theni Alli Nagaram, Theni District.

For Respondents : Mr.K.Guru, Additional Government Pleader.

[Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.] The petitioner seeks for issuance of a direction to the respondents to grant permission to conduct the cultural programme (ie.,) Adal Padal Dance Programme on 06.07.2017 at 7.00 PM to 11.00 PM in connection with a temple festival and to the said effect, he has submitted a representation to the respondents on 22.06.2017. Since, the representation has not been considered, the petitioner is before this Court.

Considering the fact that the representation is still pending with the respondents, this Court is not inclined to give any positive direction in this Writ Petition, but, directs the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.06.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
