: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.06.2017 to grant permission to conduct the "Aani Pongal" as well as other programmes and also to conduct the "Innisai Katcheri" on 08.07.2017 and "Traditional Raja Rani Aattam" on 09.07.2017 at about 10.00 pm to 06.00 am in "Arulmigu Thattankulam Kaliamman Temple" situated at Devipattinam, Tirunelveli District. *********** [Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.] The petitioner seeks for issuance of a direction to the respondents to grant permission to conduct the "Innisai Katcheri" on 08.07.2017 and "Traditional Raja Rani Aattam" on 09.07.2017 at about 10.00 pm to 06.00 am in connection with a temple festival and to the said effect, he has submitted a representation to the respondents on 23.06.2017. 2. Considering the fact that the representation is still pending with the respondents, this Court is not inclined to give

any positive direction in this Writ Petition, but, directs the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.06.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
