: Respondents PRAYER:Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to grant permission and protection for cultural event namely "Adal Padal Programme" scheduled to be held on 05.07.2017 at night in connection with "Temple Festival of Maha Kumbabishekam" at "Arulmigu Sri Eswaran, Sri Ramar, Sri Kamatchiamman Thirukovil" Festival at T.Kallipatti Village, Periyakulam Taluk, Theni District by considering representation of the petitioner's dated 22.06.2017.

[Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.] The petitioner seeks for issuance of a direction to the respondents to grant permission to conduct cultural programme on 05.07.2017 in connection with a temple festival and to the said effect, he has submitted a representation to the respondent on 22.06.2017. Since, the representation has not been considered, the petitioner is before this Court.

2. Considering the fact that the representation is still pending with the respondent, this Court is not inclined to give any positive direction in this Writ Petition, but, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

22.06.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two days from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

3. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
