PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS, to modify the condition imposed by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Nagercoil, in Cr.M.P.No.1024 of 2025 dated 08.04.2025, imposed on the petitioners to the effect that they shall appear and report before the respondent Police station daily at 10.00 a.m., for 30 days.

ORDER

This Petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS praying to modify the condition imposed by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Nagercoil, in Cr.M.P.No.1024 of 2025 dated 08.04.2025, imposed on the petitioners to the effect that they shall appear and report before the respondent Police station daily at 10.00 a.m., for 30 days.

2. Mr.S.Lawrence Vimal Raj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have been regularly complying with the condition imposed by the Court below.

3. Mr.K.Sanjai Gandhi, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent-Police submits that the petitioners have complied with the condition only for 11 days.

4.Hence, this Court is not satisfied with reasons stated in the petition. Hence, this Court is not inclined to modify the condition imposed by the Court below. 2/4
