: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent herein to grant permission for conducting cultural activities traditional dance and songs on 05.07.2017 for the completion of festival in Arulmigu Sri Veerakaliamman Kovil, Arasaradi Othakadai, Madurai based on the petitioner's representation dated 24.06.2017.

*********** [Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.] The petitioner seeks for issuance of a direction to the 2nd respondent to grant permission to conduct cultural activities traditional dance and songs on 05.07.2017 in connection with a temple festival and to the said effect, he has submitted a representation to the respondents on 24.06.2017. Since, the representation has not been considered, the petitioner is before this Court.

2. Considering the fact that the representation is still pending with the 2nd respondent, this Court is not inclined to give any positive direction in this Writ Petition, but, directs the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.06.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two days from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

3. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
