O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Judicial Magistrate, Additional Mahila Court, Madurai to conduct and expedite the trial in C.C.No.634 of 2022. 2.According to the petitioner, based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, an FIR in Crime No.5 of 2021 was registered for the offence under Sections 498(A), 406 and 506(1) of IPC. After completion of investigation, the respondent police filed final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Additional Mahila Court, Madurai and the same was taken cognizance in C.C.No.634 of 2022. But the case is still pending without any progress. Hence this petition. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the case is posted for examination of witnesses and already summonses were issued to some of the witnesses.

4.Considering the prayer sought for in this petitioner and also considering that the case is pending from the year 2021, the trial Court is directed to expedite the trial proceedings in C.C.No.634 of 2022 and dispose of the same, as early as possible without granting long adjournment beyond one week.

5.With the above observations and direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
