ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed praying to direct the respondent to pass appropriate orders on the disciplinary action initiated against the petitioner in Collectors memo No.A.4/45041/2013 dated 24.02.2016.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader, who took notice for the respondent. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's case, this Court is inclined to pass the following direction.

4.The respondent viz., District Collector, Thanjavur is directed to pass final orders on the disciplinary action initiated against the petitioner pursuant to the charge memo dated 24.02.2016 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
