: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission and necessary Police Protection to perform the cultural programme (ie.,) Adal Padal Dance Programme on 08.07.2017 at 7.00 pm to 12.00 pm in the Festival of Thiru Vizha festival committee of Arulmigu Sri Pathrakaliamman Thirukovil at Kallal Puduvalavu, Kallal Post, Karaikudi Taluk, Sivagangai District.

*********** [Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.] The petitioner seeks for issuance of a direction to the respondents to grant permission to conduct the cultural programme (ie.,) Adal Padal Dance Programme on 08.07.2017 at 7.00 pm to 12.00 pm in connection with a temple festival and to the said effect, he has submitted a representation to the respondents on 23.06.2017. Since, the representation has not been considered, the petitioner is before this Court.

2. Considering the fact that the representation is still pending with the respondents, this Court is not inclined to give

any positive direction in this Writ Petition, but, directs the 2nd respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.06.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two days from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

3. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
