K.V.Kannan : Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 herein to initiate appropriate action against the 4th respondent for ex-communicating 16 family members and villagers in the temple festival namely Sree Kannudaiya Ayyanar Temple situated at Namboorani patti, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukkottai District and consequently direct the respondents 1 to3 herein not to grant permission to the 4th respondent conducting temple festival by ex-communicating 16 family members and other villagers based on the representation of the petitioner dated 16.06.2017.

Heard Mr.S.Gokul Raj, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.T.S.Mohammed Mohideen, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.G.Madhavan, learned Counsel appearing for the fourth respondent.

2. Mr.G.Madhavan entered appearance for the fourth respondent and submitted that the petition has not been ex-communicated and his family members very well participated in the "Puravi Edduppu Vizha" of the Sree Kannudaiya Ayyanar Temple that is to be held on 14.07.2017.
