: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.06.2017 to grant permission to conduct the "Aani Pongal Festival" as well as other programmes and also to conduct the "Aadal Padal" at about 6.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. on 05.07.2017 in temple namely "Sri Rajaganapathy, Sri Poonkaliamman and Sree Mahamariamman" in Udayakulampudur, Elurpatti Post, Thottiyam Taluk, Trichy District.

*********** [Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.] The petitioner seeks for issuance of a direction to the 2nd respondent to grant permission to conduct cultural programme on 05.07.2017 between 6.00 P.M to 11.00 P.M in connection with a temple festival and to the said effect, he has submitted a representation to the respondent on 28.06.2017. Since, the representation has not been considered, the petitioner is before this Court.

2. Considering the fact that the representation is still pending with the respondent, this Court is not inclined to give any positive direction in this Writ Petition, but, directs the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.06.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

with law within a period of two days from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

3. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
