[Order of the Court was made by K.K.SASIDHARAN,J.] The petitioner filed this writ petition to direct the first respondent to dispose of the appeal stated to have been filed on 20.05.2017.

2. When the writ petition is taken up for admission, the learned Additional Government Pleader by placing reliance on a copy of the proceedings dated 17.07.2017, submitted that the appeal has already been returned for rectification. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. In view of the return of the appeal, there is no question of issuing a direction for disposal of the appeal.

4. In the result, the writ petition is dismissed. However, we make it clear that this order would not stand in the way of the petitioner from representing the appeal. No costs.
