*********** [Order of the Court was made by G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.] The petitioner has filed the instant writ petition seeking a direction to the second respondent to permit him to conduct Adal Padal Programme on 04.07.2017 at Ayanar Kovil in A.Thekur Village, Tirupathur Taluk, Sivagangai District.

2.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, informs this Court that seven cases have been registered against two rival groups in the village.

3. In view of the above stand taken by the respondents, this Court deems it fit not to grant the relief, sought for. Moreover, the function is slated to be held on 04.07.2017 and this writ petition has been filed literally at the eleventh hour. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to exercise its discretion and the writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
