*********** [Order of the Court was made by G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.] By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. The writ petitioner has filed the instant Writ Petition seeking a direction to the respondent to grant permission to conduct a light music programme on 08.07.2017.

3. Mr.G.Muthu Kannan, learned Government Advocate, on instructions, submitted that there is no serious objection from the respondent.

4. In such circumstances, the Writ Petition is allowed. However, it is made clear that the permission is confined only to conduct a light music programme, without any accompanying dance. In case the writ petitioner attempts to hold Adal Padal programme, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

it is always open to the respondent police to intervene and take appropriate action. No costs.
