This Writ Petition has been filed for seeking a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to sanction and grant provident

fund loan of a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- to the petitioner from his Provident Fund Contribution for the medical expenses of his mother within the time as fixed by this Court.

2.Heard, Mr.A.Rahul, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Jeyaram, learned counsel appearing for the respondents.

3.Though the petitioner sought for a larger relief, having regard to the fact that the application dated 21.06.2016 of the petitioner for grant of Provident Fund Loan has not yet been disposed of till date, this Court without expressing any view on the correctness or entitlement of the claim made, directs the first respondent to dispassionately consider that application made by the petitioner and pass a reasoned orders on merits in accordance with law and communicate the decision to the petitioner and file a report of such compliance before the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court on or before 31.12.2017.
