Managing Director, TANGEDCO Limited, to grant the vacant post of Deputy Finance Controller of CE/Distribution/Madurai that arises on 30.06.2017 by considering his representation dated 19.06.2017. 3.The petitioner is working as Deputy Finance Controller in the Office of the Superintendent Engineer, Virudhunagar Electricity Distribution Circle, TANGEDCO Limited, Virudhunagar District from 22.06.2016 onwards. While, he was working as Accounts Officer (AO) at Chennai, Chennai North Electricity Circle, he was promoted to the present post. He made a request to post him at Madurai Central Construction Circle. However, he was transferred to Dindigul Electricity Circle Office, Dindigul as DFC on 04.03.2015 and subsequently, he was transferred to Virudhunagar District, without any valid reason. Therefore, the petitioner has made a request to the first respondent to transfer him to SE/GCC Madurai, which was vacant on 31.05.2017 and the said request has not been considered. Therefore, the petitioner has come to this Court seeking the above said prayer.

4.It is not known, how the petitioner can maintain this petition for writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to block the future vacancy going to occur on 30.06.2017. If, this type of prayer is allowed, then the Court will be always flooded with similar representations to consider their transfers from one place to another place leaving the employer without any work. Secondly, the employer alone would know, who should be transferred where and hence, the prayer of the petitioner is wholly misconceived. Therefore, the writ petition is rejected. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
