Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to settle death cum terminal benefits of the petitioner's husband Late M.Selvaraj to her including Provident Fund, Exgratia amount/Family Welfare Fund, Social Security Scheme amount and monthly family pension arrears together with interest at the rate of 18% per annum payable from the dated of death of her husband to till date on which the above benefits are settled to her and further directing the respondents to pay interest at the rate of 18% per annum for the belated payment of gratuity from the date of death of her husband to till the date on which the said amount is settled to her. O R D E R

It is stated by the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Corporation that death cum terminal benefits of the petitioner's husband along with interest has been paid to the petitioner and hence, the prayer sought for in the present writ petition has become infructuous.

2.Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands closed. In case, the petitioner is aggrieved against the quantum of settlement, liberty is hereby granted to her to challenge the same in the manner known to law. No costs.
