Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioners are figuring as accused in C.C.No.31 of 2015 on the file of the Additional Mahila Court (Judicial Magistrate Level), Madurai, for the offences under Sections 498(A), 406 of IPC and Sections 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

3.Today, the defacto complainant Mangai appeared through video conferencing. She states that the matter has been resolved and the proceedings can be quashed.

4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for R1 also confirmed the amicable resolution of the outstanding issues. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/4

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.10891 of 2020 5.Since the parties have settled the matter between themselves, no purpose will be served by keeping the impugned prosecution alive. It is accordingly quashed. The Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
