ORDER:- This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition coming on for hearing on this day and upon perusing the earlier order dated 19/03/2021 and petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the aruguments of R.M.Anbunithi Additional Public prosecutor for the Petitioner and MR.R.Alagumani Advocate for the 6th Respondent , this court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to extend the time granted for completing the investigation and to file the final report. 2.By order dated 19.03.2021, the petitioner was directed to complete the investigation and file the final report within a period of 3 months. Subsequent to that, this petition is filed by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Crl.side) stating that they are waiting for the Expert Opinion Report from the concerned Department.
On that basis, he seeks further period of 6 months. 3.Considering the request made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Crl.side), 6 months time is extended from the date of receipt of a copy of this order for filing a final report. 4.Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered.
