The writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to furnish necessary particulars including the address and present status in the employment (whether in service or retired) in respect of the accused in PRC No.31 of 2003 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Valliyoor, Tirunelveli District, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
namely 1.Bashir Ahamed, 2.Vijaya Ragavan, 3.Amirtha Nathasamy, 4.Thenkarai Muthu and 5.Thangaraj forthwith to the petitioner. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 3.In this case, admittedly, the accused in the case in PRC No.31 of 2003 are police personnel and the petitioner has also proceeded with under the Right to Information Against to get the address of them. Without exhausting all the remedies under the Right to Information Act, the writ petition filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents to furnish necessary particulars of namely 1.Bashir Ahamed, 2.Vijaya Ragavan, 3.Amirtha Nathasamy, 4.Thenkarai Muthu and 5.Thangaraj, is not at all maintainable in law.
4.In view of the above circumstances, this court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition.
5.In the result, the writ petition is dismissed with a direction to the petitioner to exhaust the remedy provided under the Right to Information Act. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
