ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner is in judicial custody since 22.07.2018 for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 397 I.P.C r/w 3(1) of TNPPDL Act in Crime No.70 of 2018, on the file of the respondent Police. He seeks bail.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) for the respondent. 3.The case of the prosecution is that on 09.07.2018, the accused persons damaged the de facto complainant's car and also snatched the golden articles from the de facto complainant. 4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the driver cum owner of the taxi and after the occurrence took place, the petitioner took the accused to the spot. He has driven the car only and he has been falsely implicated in this case.
5.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondent would submit that the petitioner is having one previous case, but it is not similar to the present one. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 6.Considering the above facts and circumstances and also the recovery made from the petitioner, this Court is inclined to grant
bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail subject to the following conditions: (i) the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties, each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirumayam.
