Heard Mr.R.Murali, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Siddharthan, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.
2. By consent of both the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3. This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents 1 and 2 from deploying the BT Teachers from Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Oddanchatiram, Dindigul District by considering the students strength and students welfare.

4. Mr.R.Murali, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the member of the School Management Committee at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Oddanchathiram. The claim of the petitioner is that the respondents are attempting to deploy the teachers from the School during November 2023. In this regard, the Headmaster of the School preferred a representation dated 17.11.2023 to the second respondent seeking to defer the deployment of teachers by considering the welfare of students. Though the representation was considered, the second respondent vide proceedings dated 07.06.2024 decided to conduct counselling for deployment on 11.06.2024 and they identified four teachers in the cadre of B.T.Assistant with English, Maths, Science and Social Science. Based on the students strength on 01.08.
2023, the educational authorities are conducting deployment in the month of June 2024. Now, for the present academic year, the students strength are increased and by deploying four B.T.Teachers will affect the educational standard of the School. The issue can be addressed at least for the present academic year, since there is increase in the students' strength. Hence, the petitioner approached this Court by way of filing this Writ Petition.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and this Court without going into the merits of the claim of the petitioner, directed the respondents to ascertain the correct number of students in the Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Oddanchatiram, Dindigul District and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 11.06.2024 NCC:yes/no Index:yes/no Internet:yes/no Nsr 4/6
