Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to grant permission and protection for cultural event namely Adalpadal scheduled to be held on 04.07.2017 at night in connection with "Aani Festival" in Arulmigu Sri Ayyanar Temple at Koothadivayal Village, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukkottai District, by consider the petitioner's representation, dated 22.06.2017.

O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J) This Writ Petition has been filed for directing the second respondent to grant permission and protection for conducting Adalpadal scheduled to be held on 04th July 2017 at night in connection with ''Aani Festival" in Arulmigu Sri Ayyanar Temple at Koothadivayal Village, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukkottai District. 2.The writ petitioner has submitted a representation in this regard on 22nd June 2017.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the writ petitioner as well as the respondents.

"The second respondent is directed to grant permission to the writ petitioner to conduct "Aadal Padal programme" in connection with ''Aani Festival" at Arulmigu Sri Ayyanar Temple in Koothadivayal Village, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukkottai District, subject to the following conditions:

i)The event shall be conducted in an organised and peaceful manner without causing any law and order problem.

ii)There shall not be any obscene or vulgar scenes during the dance performance by any one of the participants or others.

iii)The programme timings shall be between 06.00 p.m. and 10.00 p.m. on 04th July 2017.

iv)If there is any violation of the above said conditions, the second respondent or the duly authorised officer is entitled to take necessary action as per law and stop such performance.

5.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
