ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 147, 294(b), 353 and 506(ii) IPC, in Crime No.100 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant is the Village Administrative Officer. When the defacto complainant was questioning about the encroachment made by the petitioners, they abused the defacto complainant in filthy language. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are innocent persons and they have not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the State would submit that investigation is in progress. He would further submit that the petitioners are having previous cases.

5. Considering the seriousness and gravity of the offence alleged by the prosecution and also the facts that the investigation is in initial stage, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners at this point of time.
