ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners/Accused Nos.1 to 5, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 498(A), 406, 294 (b), 323, 506(i) and 354 A(2) of IPC read with Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, in Crime No. 14 of 2023, on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The matter was referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre attached to this Bench and settled between the parties, for which the petitioner agreed to return Rs.3.80 Lakhs on the date of compromise and the jewel was also returned to the defacto complainant. The parties have mutually agreed to file divorce application on 12.09.2023.

3. On the basis of the compromise that reached between the parties, the relief now sought for in this petition has become infructuous. The respondent may take notice of the development and refer the matter as settled between the parties.
