Mr.K.Sathiya Singh, learned counsel takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner after rendering 33 years of service as Technical Level - 6 in the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation [Tirunelveli] Limited, Nagercoil, retired from service on 31.07.2016. He made a representation demanding payment of Rs.4,93,262/- towards Provident Fund amount and Rs.5,20,592/- towards Surrender Leave Salary and also interest on the belated payment of gratuity. Since the said representation has not been considered by the respondents, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition.

that the Corporation would consider the said representation of the petitioner dated 28.06.2017 and pass appropriate orders within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4.In view of the abovesaid submission of the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 28.06.2017, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
