Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to remove the encroachment made by the fourth respondent in Government Poromboke land in S.No.43/1A, Aandar Kottaram Village, Sakkimangalam Firga, Madurai East Taluk, Madurai District based on the petitioner's representation, dated 21.08.2021 within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) Mr.R.Murugan, S/o.Rasu Thevar, a resident of Ayyanar Nagar, Aandar Kottaram Village, Madurai East Taluk, Madurai District, has filed this writ petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, for removal of encroachments made by the fourth respondent in the Government Poramboke land in Survey No.43/1A of Aandar Kottaram Village, Sakkimangalam Firga, Madurai East Taluk, Madurai District.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, Mr.R.Ragavendran, learned Government Advocate appearing for the official respondents, submitted that the respondents had already taken action for removal of encroachment. He further submitted that if four weeks time is granted by this Court, they will complete the process and report before this Court.

3. Since it is stated before us that the respondents had already taken action for removal of encroachment after issuing notice to the encroachers, further action shall be taken, for which, we grant six weeks time from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No Costs.
