.. Respondents in both Wps PRAYER: Writ Petitions are filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorari calling for the records pertaining to the notice in Na.Ka.1071/2016/A1, dated .06.2017, signed on 28.06.2017 passed by the 3rd respondent and quash the same.

For petitioners : Mr.K.Baalasundharam in both WPs For respondents : Mr.M.Govidan, in both Wps Special Government Pleader COMMON ORDER [Order of the Court was made by G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.] Aggrieved by the order of eviction passed by the Tahsildar, the writ petitioners have filed appeals before the District Collector and the same were dismissed. Revision Petitions have been filed before the first respondent, the Commissioner of Land Administration, Chennai. The Revision Petitions are still pending and the first respondent is yet to dispose of the stay application.

2.In these circumstances, this Court deems it fit to issue direction to the first respondent to dispose of the revisions filed by the writ petitioners within a time frame.

3. In the result, the Writ Petitions are disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the revisions filed by the writ petitioners within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till the disposal of the revision petitions, the authorities are directed to maintain status-quo prevailing as-on-today. No costs.
