... Respondents Prayer : Contempt Petition is filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to commit and punish the respondents for their wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD). No.15418 of 2014, dated 21.01.2020.

Prayer in WP(MD). 15418 of 2014:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a writ of Ceritiorarified Mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the impugned order passed by the 2nd respondent in ref: Sattam/W.P. No. 20473/2013, Madurai Region-Legal Department dated 20.3.2014, quash the same and consequently directing the respondents to give the petitioner revised pay fixation notionally to be arrived as on 30.9.2010 as per settlement dated 22.1.2011 and to revise the petitioners pension benefits and to pay the revised pension benefits including difference in monthly pension, gratuity, provident fund, 1/3

Alleging disobedience of the order of this Court in W.P.(MD). No.15418 of 2014, dated 21.01.2020, the petitioner has filed the present contempt petition.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD).No.15418 of 2014, dated 21.01.2020, has been complied with.

3. In view of the above, nothing survives in this petition for further adjudication. Hence, the Contempt Petition is closed.
