ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 448, 294(b), 324, 506(ii), 109 and 307 IPC and Section 4 of TNPHW Act in Crime No.127 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that due to previous enmity between the petitioner and the defacto complainant, the petitioner along with other accused said to have trespassed into the victim's house and attacked her with aruval brutally with an intention to murder her. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the State would submit that the injured is still in hospital. He would further submit that investigation is in progress.

5. Considering the seriousness and gravity of the offence alleged by the prosecution and also the facts that the injured is still in hospital and that the investigation is in initial stage, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner at this point of time.
