ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.256 of 2019 on the file of the respondent police within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he is the defacto complainant and the case in Crime No.256 of 2019 has been registered for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 341, 323 and 506 (i) IPC and even after lapse of two years, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, this petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that within a period of two months, investigation will be completed and final report will be filed before the concerned court.

4. Considering the request made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, there shall be a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and file a find report within a period of 2 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. After filing final report before the concerned court, compliance report shall be sent to the Registry.

5. With the above direction, this petition is disposed of.
