The prayer sought for in this writ petition is to direct the respondent to complete the proceedings, based on the representation of the petitioner, dated 09.08.2016 and award compensation of Rs.3,00,000/- as per Tamil Nadu Victim Compensation Scheme, 2013.

2.Heard Mr.M.A.Abdul Muthalif, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondent and perused the materials available on record. 3.Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader, on instructions, would submit that the respondent/Madurai District Legal Services Authority having found that the petitioner claimed compensation under Victim Compensation Scheme in hit and run fatal case, forwarded the application to the District Collector, Madurai, in his reference No.M.D.L.S.A.No.3512/16, dated 19.08.2016.
