This writ petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner seeking permission for the petitioner's association to have a Auto Rickshaw stand near Courtalam Bus Stand or near Puliaruvi (Tiger falls) main road, Courtalam, Tenkasi District. 2/5

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, on instructions, would submit that there is a format to be submitted to seek permission to have a auto rickshaw stand along with requisite fees to the revenue authorities. If any application is received by the revenue authorities, it has to be forwarded to the Transport authorities for consideration.

4. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to submit a fresh application with requisite fees to the concerned revenue authorities seeking to have the auto rickshaw stand near Courtalam Bus Stand or near Puliaruvi (Tiger falls) main road, Courtalam, Tenkasi District. On receipt of the same, the revenue authorities shall forward the same to the transport authorities. On receipt of the same, the transport authorities are directed to consider the same and dispose the application within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the application from the revenue authorities.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
