This writ petition is filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to complete the investigation upon the petitioner's complaint in CSR.No.217/2016 dated 23.12.2016 on the file of the second respondent and consequently to direct the second respondent to take appropriate action upon the petitioner's above complaint in a manner known to law within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

The learned Government Advocate would submit that on the basis of the complaint, both parties were called and they informed that they will settle the dispute before the civil court and the petitioner herein requested the respondent police not to take action on his petition and he has made an endorsement to that effect. The learned Government Advocate has produced the entire file before this Court.
