The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition for issuance of a Mandamus seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and protection for sacrifice the male goats, on 26.07.2017 during Aadipooram Car festival at A/m Valaroli Eswarar Swamy Nagara Vairavasamy Temple, in completion of festival in A/m Valaroli Eswarar Swamy Nagara Vairavasamy Temple, N.Vairavan Patti Post, Tirupattur Taluk, Sivagangai District, to be held on 26.07.2017.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.R.Gandhi, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice to issue a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.06.2017 and pass order within a time limit.

3. Heard the learned counsel on both side and perused the records.

4. Considering the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition and also considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.06.2017, and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on or before 20.07.2017, incorporating the specific conditions and ensure the observance of the conditions to maintain public order and tranquillity. It is open to the respondent to take appropriate action in the event of nonobservance of the conditions stipulated. No costs.
