O R D E R

The Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to conduct proper enquiry by giving opportunity to the petitioner in the light of the representation dated 15.02.2019 and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible.

2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents.

3. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

4. The case of the petitioner is that he had retired as Store Keeper (selection grade at Government I.T.I.), Karaikudi under Voluntary Retirement Scheme on 31.03.2012. While being so, the petitioner filed a complaint on 04.11.2016, to the first respondent alleging illegal appointment of Office Assistants in the Training Wing of Department of Employment and Training. Since no fruitful action had been taken by the first respondent or any other authorities, he filed a Public Interest Litigation in W.P.(MD) No.21103 of 2017 and the same was dismissed by this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P(MD)No.15876 of 2020 Thereafter, the petitioner had given a representation to the first respondent, on 15.02.2019. Since the representation has not been considered so far, the present Writ Petition is filed before this Court.

5. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation submitted by the petitioner, dated 15.02.2019, would be considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

6. Considering the nature of the relief as sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.02.2019 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
