O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J) This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to grant permission and necessary protection to perform the cultural programme, [i.e,] Adal Padal, on 05.07.2017 at 08.00 PM, in the eve of Arulmighu Vinayagar Kovil, "Kumbaabisekam Vizha" at Mettuvadakarai, Vembakottai Taluk, Virudhunagar District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 29.06.2017.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the writ petitioner as well as the respondents.

4.Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court passes the following order:- ● The second respondent is directed to grant permission to the writ petitioner to conduct "Aadal Padal programme" in connection with ''Kumbaabisekam Vizha" at Arulmighu Vinayagar Kovil, at Mettuvadakarai, Vembakottai Taluk, Virudhunagar District, subject to the following conditions: ● The event shall be conducted in an organised and peaceful manner without causing any law and order problem. ● There shall not be any obscene or vulgar scenes during the dance performance by any one of the participants or others. ● The programme timings shall be between 06.00 p.m. and 10.00 p.m. on 05.07.2017.

● If there is any violation of the above said conditions, the second respondent or the duly authorised officer is entitled to take necessary action as per law and stop such performance.

5. The Writ Petition is disposed of, with the above directions. No costs.
