Order :This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.M.JOTHIBASU, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.K.K.RAMAKRISHNAN, Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondent, the Court made the following order:- (Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM.,J) This Petition is filed to suspend the sentence imposed by the Court of the Sessions Judge, Mahalir Neethimandiram, Madurai in S.C.No.240 of 2014, on 7.3.2020 and release the Petitioner on bail, pending disposal of the above Criminal Appeal. 2.Heard Mr.M.Jothi Basu, learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner and Mr.K.K.Ramakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent/ State and perused the materials placed before this Court.
