Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to survey and fix boundary in the petitioner's patta house to an extent of 2 cents in Survey No.1/5, situated at Sivan Nagar, Tharmathupatti Village, Kappalur Post, Tirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District, based on the representation, dated 05.12.2016, within a stipulated time fixed by this Court. Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent.

2. By consent of parties, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondent to survey and fix boundary in the petitioner's patta house to an extent of 2 cents in Survey No.1/5, situated at Sivan Nagar, Tharmathupatti Village, Kappalur Post, Tirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District. To that effect, he has already made a representation on 05.12.2016, which, according to the petitioner, has not been considered so far.

4. Therefore, without expressing any view on the merits of the matter, I only direct the respondent to consider the above representation of the petitioner and pass orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, also after hearing the rival claimants if any, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
