For Respondent : Mr.T.SENTHILKUMAR, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.122 of 2021 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 8(c) and 20(b)(ii)(B) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, in Crime No.122 of 2021, seek anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that on 14.06.2021, at about 10.00 am, when the respondent police were engaged on duty to prevent offences, they found near Karungulam-Thadhangulam Railway Junction, a Pulsar 180 CC bearing registration No.TN 92 D 9500. Three persons came in the said two wheeler. On seeing the police, two persons had escaped. The police caught the accused/Karuppasamy and found 1.15Kg of Ganja in the petrol tank cover of the two wheeler. Hence, the complaint. CRL OP(MD). No.11409 of 2021 3.This Court by order dated 15.07.2021 in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.9412 of 2021 granted anticipatory bail to the petitioners with certain conditions. The learned counsel for the petitioners without knowing the same filed this criminal original petition. 4.Since the petitioners have already granted anticipatory bail, there is nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition. However, the time for surrender by the petitioners before the concerned Court and executing the sureties is extended by ten days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which the anticipatory bail already granted by this Court shall stand cancelled.

5.In the view of the above, this criminal original petition stands dismissed.
