PRAYER : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents 1 to 5 herein from in any way allowing the respondents 6 to 10 herein from conducting Kumbabishegam festival in A/m.Urumanasamy Koil at Seelnaickenpatti, Dindigul District, except by permitting the petitioner and residents of Keela Mettupatti Village, Athanur Post, Tharagampatti Taluk, Karur District.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking for forbearing the respondents 6 to 10 from conducting Kumbabishegam festival at Urumanasamy Koil at Seelnaickenpatti, Dindigul District.

2. It is brought to the notice of the Court that Kumbabishegam festival is already over in the year 2017 itself and nothing survives in the writ petition.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has to independently workout his right before the appropriate court and the said exercise cannot be done in this writ petition.

4. Hence liberty is granted to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law before the appropriate forum. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
