************ [Order of the Court was made by K.K.SASIDHARAN, J.] The petitioner filed an application before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Aruppukkottai, Virudhunagar District, the respondent herein, requesting him to issue a community certificate. The application was submitted on 24.03.2014. Since follow up action was not taken, the petitioner has come up with this writ petition.

3. We direct the respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 24.03.2014 on merits and as per law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
