Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records of the 2nd respondent in respect of Clause 6(a) (i) of the Notification of Information and Instructions for B.Arch Degree Course-2017 and quash the same in so far as the petitioner is concerned and direct the 2nd respondent to follow the notification dated 15.06.2017 issued by the 1st respondent in respect of admission to B.Arch Degree Course 2017. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the 2nd respondent in respect of Clause 6(a) (i) of the Notification of Information and Instructions for B.Arch Degree Course-2017 and quash the same in so far as the petitioner is concerned and direct the 2nd respondent to follow the notification dated 15.06.2017 issued by the 1st respondent in respect of admission to B.Arch Degree Course 2017.

2.Despite the name of the petitioner is printed in the cause list, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

3.Heard Ms.Victoriya Gowri, learned counsel, appearing for the first respondent and Mr.M.Rajarajan, learned counsel, appearing for the second respondent and perused the records. 4.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the respondents that in view of the Government Order in G.O.(D)No.242, Higher Education (J2) Department dated 18.07.2017, this Writ Petition has become infructuous.

5.Considering the above fact, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petitions are closed.
