PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to grant patta in favour of the petitioner on the basis of the representation given by the petitioner dated 06.06.2017 within the time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

The petitioner has come up with the present Writ Petition for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to grant patta in favour of the petitioner on the basis of the representation given by the petitioner dated 06.06.2017. 2.Heard Mr.B.Jameel Arasu, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.C.Selvaraj, Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent and perused the materials available on record. 3.The case of the petitioner is that she purchased three plots, viz., Plot Nos.477, 478 and 479 in Survey No.207/1, situated at Velayuthamgudi Village, Thiruverambur Taluk through a registered sale deed, dated 29.08.1986. Since the date of her purchase, she has been in possession and enjoyment of the same. 4.The petitioner would state that she applied for grant of patta in respect of her properties to the respondent, dated 05.01.2016. Thereafter, she has sent a reminder to the respondent on 06.06.2017. In respect of the same, no favourable orders were passed, hence the present Writ petition has been filed by the petitioner.

5.Considering the limited prayer sought for in the Writ petition and the submissions of the learned Counsel for the respondent, this Writ petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondent to pass orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 06.06.2017 on merits and in accordance with law, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

after providing opportunities to all the necessary parties within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
