... Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order passed by the second respondent dated 30.06.2017 as for as the petitioner is concerned and quash the same and directing the respondents to appoint the petitioner as B.T.Assistant (History) in any school within the time as stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioner was an aspirant for the post of B.T.Assistant. The respondent board issued a recruitment notification on 27.04.2017 for filling up the vacancies in the post of B.T.Assistant. But, the recruitment notification made it clear that the zone of selection will be confined to those TNTET qualified candidates for the years 2012, 2013 and 2014. 2.Heard the learned counsel on either side.

https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a candidate of TNTET in the year 2013 and

he drew the attention of this Court to the TET certificate dated 24.02.2017 which clearly mentioned that the petitioner cleared the TET test in August 2013 itself. But then the petitioner was not selected on the ground that she was not qualified. 4.It is fairly submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner had cleared B.Ed., qualification in the year 2016. In as much as the petitioner did not possess B.Ed., qualification in the year 2013, even though she had cleared TET August 2013, she was rightly not selected. 5.The order impugned in this writ petition is therefore sustained. However, the TET certificate states that this is valid for a period of seven year. The petitioner possesses the degree qualification, T.E.T as well as B.Ed., She belongs to S.C category.

Therefore, the respondent board is bound to consider the case of the petitioner for being appointed as B.T.Assistant in the future vacancy during the next selection process. 6.With this observation and direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
