: Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the second respondent to provide adequate police protection to conduct the annual festival of the churches in the Athisayapuram pastorate which is scheduled to be commenced on 22.09.2018 to 24.09.2018 and the regular meetings of Athisayapuram pastorate on the basis of the representation given by the petitioner on 29.07.2017 and 22.08.2018 respectively. ORDER
This criminal original petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent police to give permission and police protection to conduct the annual festival of the churches in the Athisayapuram pastorate which is scheduled to be commenced on 22.09.2018 to 24.09.2018.
2.The petitioner has given a representation on 22.08.2018 in this regard to the respondent police.
3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on instructions would submit that there are two groups that are involved in this case and immediately on receipt of the representation, the respondent police have referred the case to the Tahsildar, V.K.Pudur, to conduct a peace committee meeting between the parties.
4.In view of the above, the parties are directed to appear before the Tahsildar, V.K.Pudur on 18.09.2018 at 11.30 a.m., The Tahsildar, V.K.Pudur, shall hear the parties and arrive at a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
conclusion with regard to permitting the parties to conduct the annual festival from 22.09.2018 to 24.09.2018. 5.The Tahsildar, V.K.Pudur, shall take an appropriate decision and ensure that the persons belonging to their entire community participate in the festival. The petitioner and also the persons belonging to other parties shall co operate during the enquiry and shall obey the decision taken by the Tahsildar, V.K.Pudur in this regard.
6.This criminal original petition is disposed of with the above direction.
