This Writ Petition is filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 31.05.2017 and issue patta in respect of the property in Survey No.300/11 situated at Kombaipatti Village, Batlagundu Sub Registration District, Nilakottai Taluk and Dindigul District.
2.Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 3.The petitioner would state that he had purchased 1 Acre 8 Cents in S.No.300/2011 situated at Kombaipatti Village, Batlagundu
Sub Registration District, Nilakottai Taluk and Dindigul District from his father, namely, Bodhagar, through a registered sale deed, dated 12.08.2010. After purchase, the petitioner periodically approached the third respondent in person with the prayer to issue patta. Since no action has been taken, on 31.05.2017, the petitioner sent a representation to the third respondent seeking to issue patta. Even thereafter, no action has been taken. Hence, the present writ petition is filed.
4.Heard Mr.R.Balakrishnan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
5.Considering limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court without expressing any view on the merits and contention raised in this writ petition, directs the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 31.05.2017, on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as interested parties, if any, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
