O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to furnish a copy of the proceedings/order passed by them in the year 2016 for appointment of Fit Person to the

Arulmigu Kumara Kadavul @ Subramania Swami Thirukkovil, Karuppapillai Madam, Valanadu, Muthukulathur Taluk, Ramanathapuram District based on the representation dated 14.06.2017 of the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. The case of the petitioner is that he is a Hereditary Trustee of Arulmigu Kumara Kadavul @ Subramania Swami Thirukkovil and the respondents 2 and 3 have appointed a Fit Person, namely, Elangovan to manage the affairs of the Temple without following the due procedures and consulting with the existing Hereditary Trustees. It is further case of the petitioner that though the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 14.06.2017, requesting to furnish a copy of the proceedings/order in respect of appointment of the Fit Person, the respondents have refused to furnish the same. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court with the above prayer.

4. At this juncture, learned Additional Government Pleader submits that a copy of the proceedings/order would be furnished to the petitioner within two weeks by the third respondent.

5. In view of the above submission, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to provide a copy of the proceedings/order to the petitioner, relating to the appointment of the Fit Person, on the basis of the representation dated 14.06.2017 submitted by the petitioner, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
