: Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents No.1 to 3 to inspect and investigate into alleged scandal in connection with so called construction of concrete cross check dam across supply channel located on the western side of Mahendravadi Village, Tiruvenkadam Taluk, Tenkasi District and seize the relevant documents and initiate appropriate action against the respondents No.4 to 9 on the basis of representation, dated 27.08.2020.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) The petitioner filed the writ petition on the ground that the work has not been done and the payment has been made without its completion.

2.In the counter affidavit filed by the 5th respondent, the aforesaid factum is denied.

3.It appears that a similar complaint was given, which is also closed. The counter affidavit also alleges personal motive. After perusing the documents and after hearing the counsel, we are of the opinion that the relief sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted.
