ORDER

The present writ petition is filed seeking writ of certiorarified Mandamus to quash the impugned order dated 22.04.2025 and consequently direct the third respondent to remove the lock and seal of the petitioner's shop and permitting the petitioner to carry on the business.

Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that since the petitioner was selling banned Tobacco product in her shop, based on the impugned order, the petitioner's shop was locked. Thereafter, the petitioner has submitted an undertaking before the authorities that she will not indulge in such activities of selling banned Tobacco products in future in her shop. Based on which, the respondents have imposed a fine of Rs.25,000/- which has already been paid by the petitioner. Therefore, the lock was directed to be removed by the order of the third respondent dated 02.05.2025.

3. Therefore, there is no necessity to quash the impugned order since the petitioner has already paid the fine and based on the order dated 02.05.2025, the lock and seal has also been removed. Therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
